Links

So for the longest time I couldn't figure out why I couldn't add any links to my blog. I must say, it really helps to read everything on those help pages, apparently some of the templates don't come with a links sidebar built in, so I had to copy and paste. The purpose of this post is to direct your attention to the left side of your screen. You will see there a great number of links to amuse and entertain. So click on all of them and find out what happens. In other news, I promise another Hawaii post with pictures will be coming soon. I've been a little busy with school and work lately, but at some point I will be blogging to my heart's content, pictures and all, just you wait.

Moms. they're so rad

So I read Chelm's post and it inspired me. My mom is pretty much the coolest ever. And even though I already sent her a card thanking her for all that she has done for me, I thought, hey, everyone else ought to be jealous that they don't have my mom for their mom, except Chelm, cause we have the same mom. Anyway, I would like to just take a moment to express my hearfelt thanks that my mom does so much for me and my sibs, and that she endures all that we put her through, because the reason that the Reynolds clan is so cool is because my mom demands that we behave that way, otherwise, everyone would think we were weird ( or maybe they still do...) So, here is to good moms everywhere, that make their kids toe the line, yell at them when they need it, listen to them when necessary, and help them grow up into good people that learn to love and serve those around them because of the good example that their mom set for them all of their lives.

MY PROFILE!!!

So I was finally able to post a picture on my profile. Its one of Kristin and I at invitational freshman year. For those of you who may not know, and I don't know why that would be... but just in case, I am the one on the right in the photo. Yay!

Welcome to Polynesia

The moment you have all been waiting for is here!! Its time for a photo-op! these pictures are all from Chelsea's camera, so mine will still be fun for you to look at when I return to the mainland. On Saturday we went on the circle island tour. First stop... the Valley of the Temples. It was a cemetery that had some crazy headstones. In the back was this Buddhist temple, its actually a replica of one that is in Japan. The fish in the water were huge. I wish we had a picture of that because there were some goldfish that were so giant it was disgusting! So awesome! Afterwards we spent some time at the swap meet. I didn't buy anything but Chelsea got herself a pearl bracelet. She tried to bargain, when she asked if she could have the $10 bracelet for five she gave the saleswoman a heart attack. It was a pretty trying time. Afterwards we went to Pearl Harbor. "Where are the picture of these momentous occasions?" you ask. Well, our ward is going again, so stay tuned for fu...

College...who needs it?

So I checked my grades today. You know when there is a class that you know you did well in? Got good grades on all of your papers, went every day, participated, and your teacher loved every comment you made? So you're thinking, I definitely got an A, okay maybe an A- because I didn't get a perfect grade on that one paper... and then grades come out and you have a B- and you have absolutely no idea why? How do you argue that?? I'm so angry right now, I don't know if it could possibly be contained. Its ruining my Hawaiian life! Speaking of which, Chelm finally got here and life has been a barrel of fun ever since. Tomorrow we're going on an island tour. I'm going to ask her if she can ever get Wi-Fi so that I can upload pictures. Then I can go into greater detail about all the radtasticness that exists here. In other news, well I guess there really isn't any. I bought a pineapple, more details to come...

ALOHA!!!

Or Iaorana ( is that even how you spell it dad?) Anyway you say it, greetings from Hawaii. Pictures will be forthcoming, once Chelm gets here with her dig cam and we can upload to our hearts content. Too bad our apt doesn't get internet, but I think you can get Wi-Fi in the kitchen sometimes, at any rate there will be photos to make everyone sufficiently jealous. Well I got here at about 10:00 PM Hawaii time, and since my little clock is still on Utah time it was 2AM for me. So sleeping in the airport wasn't too bad since I had only gotten about 5 hours of sleep the night before I left. Anyway, nothing was stolen, and I am now perfectly safe and sound in little Laie on the island of Oahu. I woke up about every hour to the lady on the intercome saying one thing or another, but besides that, those little chairs in the airport can be quite comfortable. Okay, so that is a complete lie, but if you're tired enough, you can really sleep on anything. Well, now I am here, I still ha...
