To Do List

I love making lists. I love putting little check marks next to things as I get them done. I love that feeling at the end of the day when I know I have accomplished items on my daily list. Today, I have quite a long list of things I need to get done and have had to pack it all in. I have an early morning flight on Friday to head to Arizona. My sister is getting married on Saturday (what? Totally awesome I know.) I need to get all this stuff done in a timely manner because my plan is to take a sleeping pill and go to bed at 6 PM so I can wake up at 2 AM for my drive down to Manchester. Would you like to help me check everything off my list? 1. Print off boarding pass - check 2. Pack suitcases - check 3. Attend institute - check 4. Leave primary attendance sheets and assignments with Sister Schuck - check 5. Take out the trash and recycling- check 6. Do the dishes- check 7. Vacuum- check 8. My friend Deborah tuned me in to Ebates about a year ago. If you don't use it and shop online a lot, you should use it. Basically, you get money back after buying stuff, how awesome is that? It is legit too, I've gotten checks in the mail from them before that I have cashed. So, if you want to sign up for Ebate goodness click the link on the side. Tell them I sent you, help a sister that has a lot of loan debt and needs money for a mission this fall out!

I could not allow negative posts to populate my blog today. Easter is my favorite holiday. I doubt anyone that reads my blog will find this shocking: I am a religious person. I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to be exact. As such, I celebrate Easter as the day that Jesus Christ overcame death and the grave and was resurrected. My church has been making these bible videos and posting them on their website for the past week or two (or more). They serve as a great reminder of the importance of the Easter holiday, and the blessings in my life that have come to me through my Savior and Redeemer of the world. For example, I received a priesthood blessing on Tuesday night and feel much better now. I'm going home in three weeks for my sister's wedding. Also, I have decided to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints post bar test taking, and so many things have worked in my favor to make that possible. Blessings unmea

Conjunction Junction, What's Your Function?

And, but, and or, they can significantly change your life. For example, "I have a severe allergy/sinus problem, or terrible back pain, or severe stomach cramps" is significantly different from, "I have a severe allergy/sinus problem, and terrible back pain, and severe stomach cramps." Unfortunately, I currently fall into the latter category. Being physically miserable like this always makes me wish I were home, where my mommy and daddy could take care of me, and then I think about how sometimes I don't like being an adult. I can remember the last time I was home in Arizona and sick with some sort of stomach virus. It was during the school year because my mom was working, so I was either a senior in high school, or it was the summer after my freshman year at BYU, and I had recently returned home. My dad set me up on the couch in the living room, because I can't sleep or get comfortable in a bed when I'm sick for some reason, and he left me to my own
