Love You Much Better

So Thursday my mom and I went shopping. She wanted to buy me a new suit as a graduation gift. We found a good one at JCPenny (thanks mom.) Then, of course, we needed to get shoes to go with it, so we went to Payless... and the shoe bug bit me, there were so many cute shoes there. So we ended up buying me four pairs of shoes... including these. I love them.
Then later I decided to shop around online to find an outfit to go with them. I found this. So cute. Unfortunately, it costs 50 pounds altogether, which is approximately $100... oh shopping bug, why dost thou afflict me so?
Monday is coming and I am glad. I am excited for my job interviews, meeting Minnie, hanging with Shushi, and not punching zoobies (sorry Todd, I've given that practice up, I was losing friends.) And maybe, someday, my new shoes will have a blue dress to be worn with.

What about this dress. It's somewhat similar, but cheaper and still super super cute. I have a friend who has it and every time I see it I am slightly jealous.

So last night was The Format concert. It was so rad. How could it not be when they're from AZ? It was a nice little cap off to my summer, which is now almost over. My job as a TA has been verified, next week will be my last week as a paralegal, and the time has come for me to buy books and backpacks...I hope I don't get in a fight... sorry, random Billy Madison moment. Today I had a meeting with the Professor over the Public Health Internship department at BYU. The following is a conversation that actually happened on my way there. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALICIA!!

Today is a very special day in the life of my little sister. She is turning 18. I remember when she was a little baby ( I was three when she was born, well, almost). So, Let me list some of the reasons I love my sister. 1. We shared a room for years, and fought all the time, what fun. 2. She lets me call her various and sundry nicknames. Some of the ones she finds less embarrassing are shushi(which actually isn't a Lindsey original, I'll admit) and gorilla. 3. She lets me provoke and tease her, and she always rises to the occasion by getting mad and offended ( she secretly likes it, don't worry). 4. She always loses at our laughing contests. 5. She finds me hilarious ( who doesn't??) 6. She makes weird noises, and always at the necessary moment. 7. She listens to my problems. 8.
